It's the acronym for
Evangelisches Missionswerk in Italien, Mission Evangélique en Italie,
Evangelical Mission in Italy, Missione Evangelica in Italia.
The association is composed of friends of the Lord's work in Italy who have followed the adventures of the Bretscher couple since the 1960s and who, along with other ministries, have contributed, among other things, to the birth of the Evangelical Church of Reconciliation.

Our objectives:

Maintain an open line of communication while developing the network of friends of the mission in Italy. Encourage prayer and support for the following actions:

• the preaching of a holistic Gospel
• the formation of disciples of Jesus and new communities
• Accompanying pastors and training new workers
• assistance to children who are victims of violence and trauma, to the poor in Italy and developing countries, to refugees, and to victims of earthquakes and natural disasters
• initiatives aimed at facilitating recognition, dialogue and communion between brothers in Christ of different denominations
• activities aimed at reconciliation between men and God, between brothers of different Christian sensibilities and in the world.
