Noah's Ark School It is located in the city of Caserta, a city renowned for its architectural beauty, but also characterized by stark contrasts. The area is marked by the presence of the Camorra, the Neapolitan mafia, which has contaminated farmland with toxic waste, controlling the territory through illegal activities and imposing "protection" on shopkeepers. The region is densely populated, but finding employment is difficult, and when available, it is often poorly paid, forcing mothers and fathers to be away from home for extended periods. This exposes children to risks such as drugs, theft, and crime. The Ark of Noah school aims to address these problems by providing a Christian response. It welcomes children from a very young age and accompanies them until they are 11 to 13 years old, seeking to instill in them the values ​​taught by Jesus. The name "Noah's Ark" symbolizes openness to all children, regardless of their economic and cultural background or nationality. In the past, the school successfully educated 150 children annually with the support of 18 staff members. However, the economic crisis that began in 2011 led to job losses, making it difficult for many families to afford tuition. This forced the school to reduce both staff and enrollment. Economic difficulties have worsened, and the continuation of the school project depends on the faith of each and every one of us. We thank those who have given with faith and generosity to this project, with the families and future of children in disadvantaged areas of our country at heart.
